Desert Museum 营地
To the desert and beyond! Our engaging camps will explore the Sonoran Desert region’s diverse land, sea, animals, and plants. 露营者 will explore every nook and cranny of the Museum as they use 科学 to make their own desert discoveries, observe live animals 近距离, create art, and chill out in our Packrat Playhouse.

连接 with nature at the Desert Museum! 露营者 will explore human relationships with the Sonoran Desert through 科学, 工艺品, 玩, and live animal encounters. 露营者 will leave with an understanding of their role in the desert and ways to explore nature in their own lives.
Optional for Adults: Work from the Museum
Don’t want to drive back and forth every day? Stay and work/玩 at the Museum while your child is at camp!
Your work station includes:
- Personal (but not private) work space (bring your own computer)
- Please note that a completely private area to take calls/Zooms is not guaranteed
- Indoors with air conditioning and Wi-Fi
- 6' distancing from other stations
- Museum entry included
- Come and go from your workspace to see the Museum at your leisure
- Limit 8 — reserve your space early!
What to Wear
露营者 will be participating in a variety of activities that involve running, 跳, 玩, and maybe even getting a little messy. 露营者 必须 wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. 检查 the daily weather and send your camper dressed accordingly.
What to Bring to Camp
Bring daily, packed in a backpack or other easily carried bag:
- Full refillable water bottle
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
- Packed snack & 午餐
Changes or Cancellations
No refunds for cancellations made less than 15 days from the program date. Cancellations made more than 15 days from the program date will be refunded the program fee less $25.00.
